Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grapes. The wine can be obtained from other fruits or flowers, and other products, even by wheat. The word “wine” comes from the Greek word Fοινος, meaning wine and vine.
According to the current law in Bulgaria, “Wine is a product obtained exclusively from the total or partial alcoholic fermentation of crushed or crushed fresh grapes or grape must of fresh grapes.”
The main purpose of wine is to get a drink that combines a range of fun and interesting taste and olfactory characteristics. Achieving this goal depends directly on the quality of the raw material (grapes) and its processing methods (vinification). Tasters have developed a special vocabulary for describing the quality of wines. In the characteristics of a wine can meet expressions such as “wine is round” or “in the long aftertaste dominated by tones of dried fruit, smoke and leather.”
